Kern's OZG-4 series microscopes are specifically designed for use within the jewellery industry, allowing professional jewellers to study gems and other precious materials in an extremely high level of clarity.

The overall design and abilities of this microscope depend on which of the two models you select. For example, model OZG 493 has a binocular eyepiece, while model OZG 497 has a trinocular eyepiece with space for a digital camera. Kern's OZG 497 also has a mechanical stand plus flexible tip and rotate function for a more complete view of the sample you're studying. Both models come with objective zoom with 0.7 to 3.6x for model OZG 493 and 0.75 to 5.0x for model OZG 497.

Both units are supplied as standard with a 3-year warranty from Kern.
